LSCB Practice Guidance

The Practice Guidance has been agreed by the three local authorities, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland as a framework for joint agency working in child safeguarding.  They reflect relevant legislation, current guidance from central government and lessons from research.  Staff that are or may be involved in the safeguarding of children need to have a working knowledge of these documents and to refer to relevant sections as needed.

Please note that the LSCB Practice Guidance included here are not yet updated to include the changes in the New Working Together 2010. Work will be starting soon to update all the procedures.
